Traci Bingham - Movies and Film

Traci Bingham's Hollywood career actually started in film. While attending Harvard and participating in the school's theatre productions, Traci impressed John Landis, who gave her a small part in the basketball movie "Celtic Pride". This was the catalyst that helped Traci make the move to Los Angeles.

Traci enjoyed a lot of success in Television, namely landing the Baywatch series. But Traci was also very involved in movies and film.

In 1995, Traci Bingham played a small part as a party babe in the horror film, "Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight", which successfully pleased fans of the Tales from the Crypts comic book and series.

Traci also landed a small role in the blockbuster hit, "The Nutty Professor" with Eddie Murphy.

In 1999, Traci played Simone in the the Eddie Griffin and Master P movie, "Foolish". Andrew Dice Clay also had a role in this film. Though the film received poor reviews, and basically relied on Eddie Griffin and Master P's fame to sustain itself, this was a helpful credit to Traci's film career.

Traci Bingham took a central role in the movie, "The Private Public" in 2000, along other reality TV personalities David Burns (Real World Seattle) and Jason Rush (Real World Boston). Playing the lead female character, Laina Brookhart, Traci's character is the object of desire between the two leading men.

Traci also played roles in the direct to video movies, "Malibooty" (2003) - which is a good Brian Hooks comedy. Next came "Beach Movie" (2003), where Bingham played the role of "Stephanie", and "Bad Bizness" (2003) where Traci plays a central role as Sandra Marshall, alongside Master P once again. While this erotic thriller shows a lot of skin, unfortunately none of it is Traci's.

Traci's B-films really kind of sucked. She is most excited about her indie film work, recently completing the mockumentary, "Four Fingers of the Dragon" in 2003. "Four Fingers of the Dragon" is a comedic satire (not a spoof) of the Kung-Fu film genre. Shot as a "Behind-the-Scenes" look at how a fictional Kung-Fu movie is made, the film is basically a movie about the making of a movie. The fictional film "The Dragon" tells the story of how a young boy, who's master is killed by a group of thugs, grows up to avenge his teacher's murder. The lead character of Bruce is a tribute to the late great martial arts legend and portrays many of the stereotypical characteristics and ideosyncrasies that distinguished his illustrious career. The Making of the Dragon emphasizes and exaggerates all the overly dramatic moments, simplistic storylines and farcical elements that make up the films of the Kung-Fu genre.

My favorite Traci Bingham movie, by far, hands down, is of course Playboy's Babes of Baywatch!!!
